Eugene is a published playwright and author. His play "Listening Off-Beat" was published in One Minute Plays: A Practical Guide to Tiny Theater" by Routledge, written by Steve Ansell and Rose Bonczek

Eugene has also had two articles published by the periodical The Fight Master. His latest article: A Little Heads Up: CTE, Stage Combat and Me, Raising Awareness: Where Head Injuries and Stage Combat Collide, will be published in the upcoming Spring 2019 edition.
